How Facebook shows your cover photo
A Facebook cover photo is 851 × 315 px on a computer, but phones show a narrower slice of it: roughly the middle three quarters, about 640 px of the width. The sides that look fine on a laptop are the first thing a phone visitor loses.

Why does my Facebook cover photo look cropped or blurry?
