How Pinterest shows your Pin
Pinterest is built around tall images. Its own guidance is a 2:3 ratio, 1000 × 1500 px, and it notes that Pins taller than 2:3 may be cut off in people's feeds. A 2:3 Pin is shown whole.

Why does my Pinterest Pin look cropped or blurry?
